Affordable Care Act glitch: Adding adult child under 26 isn't easy
Good morning. It was a short work week and we made it to Friday. What do we have for you today?

Your first course is something on the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. One father offers up a terrible experience trying to secure healthcare coverage.

Enjoy that and the rest of our offerings. Be safe out there.

A ridiculous, frustrating 'Obamacare' glitch

Christopher B. Briggs writes about the frustration and suffering his family has endured trying to navigate the Affordable Care Act maze.

"Our family story with "Obamacare" is a doubly sad "Tale of Two Sisters." Our littlest girl, racked by cancer, has twice been the face of the failure of the Affordable Care Act. Now, unbelievably, her older sister is as well, for an entirely different reason."

Christians shouldn't abandon 'evangelical'

Evangelical is a term that rank-and-file evangelicals don't walk around calling themselves. It's a term used more by religion reporters, historians and as an identifier for cross-denominational institutions that adhere to a core set of beliefs.

Increasingly, however, there's a deliberate attempt to distance from the term, given how loaded it has become in recent years, a kind of catch-all term for a political affiliation that, in some circles, is seen as inconvenient or even toxic.

And yet, there are good reasons to hold on to the term evangelical.

But wait, there is more
