BREAKING: Airlines from Middle East countries say Department of Homeland Security asked them to ban certain electronics on some flights to U.S.

  Saudi Airlines tweeted that iPads and Kindles are forbidden on flights going to the United States. Royal Jordanian Airlines made a similar announcement, citing "instructions from the concerned U.S. departments." The electronics ban applies to non-stop flights from eight countries in the Middle East and Africa, according to the Associated Press and CBS News.
