President Trump can't stop thinking about LaVar Ball.

One is a garrulous, self-promoting businessman who launched a company named after himself and often engages in public feuds.

The other is a garrulous, self-promoting businessman who launched a company named after himself and often engages in public feuds.

Together, they seem locked in a war of words that may never end.

More than 24 hours after Ball downplayed the president's role in freeing his son, UCLA basketball player LiAngelo Ball, after a shoplifting incident in China this month, Trump lashed out on Twitter to declare Ball an "ungrateful fool."

"IT WAS ME," Trump said in a tweet series early Wednesday morning, claiming credit for the act. "Too bad! LaVar is just a poor man's version of Don King, but without the hair."

Also on Wednesday: The FCC prepared to upend the Internet while Facebook planned to out its fake Russian accounts.

Programming note: Happy Thanksgiving! OnPolitics Today will break until Monday. We're #thankful for you.

Trump's Thanksgiving plans: Head to a Trump property, as he does 7 out of 10 weekends.

Trump is spending Thanksgiving in sunny Florida at Mar-a-Lago, one of the Trump luxury properties where he's spent 75% of his weekends in office. He's visited Mar-a-Lago eight times and his golf club in Bedminster, N.J., 10 times. Each Mar-a-Lago trip is estimated to cost at least $3 million a pop, and the frequent travel has drained the Secret Service's budget. When he stays put in D.C. for the weekend, he can often be found at his Virginia golf club or having an occasional meal at his hotel just blocks away from the White House.

Facebook: We'll now tell your aunt she got duped by Russians

How much have the Russians been messing with you? Facebook announced a new online tool that will tell you if you've fallen for one of the fake Russian accounts spreading false information during the 2016 presidential election. Russia flooded Americans' Facebook pages with posts on race, religion, gun rights, gay rights - all aimed at sowing discord ahead of the election. The tool, set to debut by year's end, comes after Democratic lawmakers called on Facebook to inform fooled users.

This is big: FCC aims to legalize slower Internet speeds, blocked websites and extra fees

From our friends at The Short List: The Federal Communications Commission is set to let Internet providers favor some content over others, a potentially massive shift in Internet regulation that could result in slower streaming speeds, extra fees for users and bigger profits for companies such as Comcast, AT&T and Verizon. The  FCC's vote to upend net neutrality rules next month looks certain to pass, ending 2015 regulations that FCC Chairman Ajit Pai, a former Verizon attorney, claims unfairly hampers businesses. Imagine seeing Netflix slowed or even blocked if you're an AT&T customer, while being directed to HBO Now instead. If AT&T's merger with HBO owner Time Warner  goes through and net neutrality falls, it could happen. Here's more on what net neutrality's end could mean for you.
