US Navy's top officer rebuked over mishandling of 'Bad Santa' sexual harassment incident at 2016 Christmas party

Chris Servello in a timely way. The investigation stemmed from a 2016 Christmas event during which Servello, dressed in a Santa Claus outfit, slapped a civilian woman's buttocks and later, at an after-party, allegedly made sexual advances toward subordinate officers. The incidents and failure to act were detailed in a USA TODAY investigation last year.
