OnPolitics: Okay, but would you watch a remote debate?

The news of President Donald Trump testing positive for COVID continues to dominate the conversation. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

OnPolitics: The president has decided against a remote debate
The news of President Donald Trump testing positive for COVID continues to dominate the conversation.

Be real. How many Zoom meetings have you had to do since we all went underground because of the pandemic?

How many times have you had to decide if you're turning that blasted camera on even if you just couldn't be bothered to brush your hair?

Well, it would appear that the Commission on Presidential Debates would like the next presidential debate to be held "virtually," with President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden taking part remotely.

You'll remember that the president tested positive for COVID and was treated at Walter Reed hospital before returning to the White House earlier this week.

Trump put the kibosh on the remote debate, though, and instead suggested the next two debates be delayed a little. The debate scheduled Oct. 15 was originally to be a town hall format. Stay tuned.

What Pence and Harris got up to

There's a good chance you're all caught up on how the vice presidential debate went and, probably, are following the Twitter account that popped up after a fly sat on Pence's head for a few minutes.

Just in case, though, here is what happened:

Pence defended the administration's refusal to follow CDC guidelines, such as mask-wearing, at the White House event with Trump's Supreme Court pick, Amy Coney Barrett.
Harris dodged questions on expanding the Supreme Court.
Harris told Pence she would "not be lectured ... on what it means to enforce the laws of our country," when responding to a question about the Breonna Taylor case.
Pence congratulated Harris on making history as the first Black woman and first Asian American woman on a major party's presidential ticket
Harris and Pence had a sharp exchange over climate change. Pence charged that Biden would ban fracking, which Harris denied.

Fact check: What did Pence, Harris say about COVID?
