Hi there OnPolitics readers! The race for president is heating up as another candidate launched an unlikely bid for the Democratic presidential nomination today.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is the latest Democrat to launch a presidential campaign to challenge President Joe Biden for the White House in 2024, joining self-help author Marianne Williamson. Biden has yet to officially announced his expected reelection campaign.

An exclusive USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll finds that Kennedy is kicking off his campaign with the support of 14% of voters who backed Biden in 2020.

Why it matters: The findings underscore Biden's potential vulnerability to a more mainstream challenger for the Democratic nomination, Washington Bureau Chief Susan Page writes.

What else did the poll find?:

•	Only 67% of Biden's 2020 supporters said they would support him for the Democratic nomination over his current challengers.
•	Kennedy drew the support of 33% of Biden voters who disapprove of the job he is doing as president and 35% of those who say his policies in the White House have been "too liberal."
•	While Kennedy stands at 14%, Williamson is at 5% and another 13% are undecided.
