Did you beautiful people have a great weekend? We'll assume you all watched either Barbie or Oppenheimer and that some of you knew enough to watch both. 

But, alas, it's Monday again and it's time to be serious. It's with that in mind that we give you a column from Sen. Joe Manchin, a Democrat from West Virginia.

Here's a snippet: 

"For the sake of this generation of Americans and the next, our national politics must change.  If that does not happen, and if we continue to pursue a path that feeds off our present national divisions, we will destroy this nation's future."

Spending money the country doesn't have is integral to 'Bidenomics.' That's bad enough. The effort to buy votes with loan cancellation is even worse.
