Trump revives push to denaturalize US citizens |
Fewer than a dozen immigrants per year used to get their U.S. citizenship taken away — typically only if they hid their Nazi past, had ties to terrorists, or lied on their application. But President Donald Trump is rebooting an effort from his first term to denaturalize thousands of immigrant U.S. citizens. It's part of a directive that was in the deluge of executive orders he signed last week – and an indication that denaturalization will be part of his crackdown on immigration. Read more. |
