Today's Opinions

Mon Mar 18 2024

It would seem that not all Republicans support Donald Trump's newest bid for the presidency. Former Vice President Mike Pence made news when he said outright he won't be endorsing Trump and several members of Congress have said the same.

Today we offer a column from former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, who was a candidate for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. Hutchinson makes it clear he also won't be supporting Trump. We also have two columns about Trump's increasingly Trumpian rhetoric.

"So, I am a Republican who won't be supporting our presumptive nominee. I hope there will be those in the trenches who will push back against this takeover of the Republican Party and who will join the fight to reclaim the future."

Getting the government involved in determining what platforms are 'OK' for us to use feels too much like what China does to its citizens.

Not even Taylor Swift is safe from deepfakes. Why?

A proposed federal law would make deepfake images of celebrities like Taylor Swift illegal. What role will the First Amendment play?
